Everything You Need To Know About Climate Change
It's real, it's already happening, it's bad, but we can stop it from getting worse by keeping fossil fuels in the ground. We have the solutions, we just need to act on them. This video is my best attempt to answer how we do that, and hopefully help you figure out what role you can take.

    Wow you need to do more research because you were being lied to human caused climate change is not the biggest problem we’re facing unfortunately our food and the quality is probably the worst. Nothing drastic is going to change in our climate because of humans a Serbian mathematician years ago already proved why it is heating up and Why it cools down

  • @takke9830
    @takke9830 Рік тому

    I feel this so hard! It‘s absurd though how our society kinda tries teaching us that learning is boring and uninteresting while we kinda are made to assume experts and artists are born. When I learned to draw and developed that skill, I often had arguments with people who‘d today tell me I‘m born gifted or something while back then they‘d say I couldn‘t possibly become a real artist cause I wasn‘t born with the talent. It‘s really absurd. It even took my family some unlearning to accept that their assumption about being born with these kinds of skills is totally misguided since any skill can be learned and „talent“ is literally just some mystical myth probably made up by the rich to pretend that their priviliged intellect or educated self was god given instead of it just coming from being super pampered and having enough time to learn unlike most ppl wich is certainly interesting to think about. Regardless though. Ppl keep telling me that I can‘t learn this or that or doubt me but I just find that so pessimistic and also a bit hypocritical cause it‘s mostly boomers that lack interest in literally learning anying new and kinda just exist in this weird static state of pre determinism and being put into a box you never get to look beyond. I mean its sad too in a way but I guess it‘s no use trying to help those that don‘t wanna see your side either way. It‘s still funny though. I feel like many ppl kinda don‘t want you to learn and suceed at different things cause it both may break their deterministic world view or cause they are jealous of your abilities. I had that happen too sometimes when finishing projects and friends became weirdly quiet when I told them so I just ended up not telling them much more after that and just kinda felt like they still matter to me and nobody is entitled to my success if they can‘t look past their own desire of wanting me to not win i guess. Or be more successful or whatever. But it‘s still kinda nice. Like, I came so far with my art and stuff that I can finally at leart earn myself a small amount of money to compensate for. The lack of jobs I can get due to my disability and not being too much of a burden to my family. I mean it‘s still not even remotely enough to call it a living. More so it‘s 1/4th of a living I guess but it‘s at least nice to know I can rise up the ladder since I get to be my own boss in this so I won‘t depend on a dictator that decides my salary and life basically. Wich is a worthy sacrifice to me at least so far. But it‘s still tricky ofc. Hope i‘m not oversharing here lol cause this seems like a small space and I‘m just rambling off about my experience but I really love your vids and they are cozy af so I couldn‘t help myself lol. But hey, you‘re a great educator too I‘m sure! U certainly know how to make things exciting and I appreciate that about you! So thx for that and also be proud of yourself too! We all need to appreciate ourselves more instead of the toxic constant of self critial needs to self optimize so just know that you‘re already great! And that is awesome!

    I think you really missed a chance to point out how pregnancy and childbirth are alsop dangerous to women. It might reduce the chance of ovarian cancer, but pregnancy and child birth are HUGE killers of women and even healthy routine pregnancies can lead to long term negative health outcomes. Yes it might reduce overall lifetime ovarian cancer, but going through additional pregnancies and risk in your 20s and 30s for a disease that has a median age at diagnosis of 63 seems like a terrible swap. Also, I think using some forms of contraception and breast feeding can also reduce the risk
